Technical & Process Writer Intern

Overview We are seeking a Technical & Process Writer Intern to help document, standardize, and improve internal and customer-facing content. You will work closely with product, engineering, operations, and customer service teams to capture knowledge, improve processes, and support scalable growth. This is a 10 week paid internship.
Responsibilities
Document internal processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workflows across teams
Create and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and training materials
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate information
Audit existing documentation and recommend improvements for clarity and consistency
Support onboarding materials for new employees and customers
Assist in organizing and maintaining documentation repositories
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, structured content
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
Ability to critically assess and edit content, including AI‑generated content for clarity, accuracy, and bias
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of software products, SaaS environments, or customer service operations
Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Zendesk, or similar) and preferred tools, systems, or methodologies
Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) for writing, research, or productivity tasks
