Salesforce Administrator New Washington, DC

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Salesforce Administrator to support our IT support contract with the DOJ Civil Division. In this role, you will maintain and enhance Salesforce-based case management applications that have undergone recent modernization, ensuring continued platform stability, user adoption, and alignment with evolving mission requirements. You’ll manage day‑to‑day platform operations, optimize workflows, and ensure Salesforce is configured to meet mission needs while maintaining strict security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce orgs, including user management, permissions, workflows, and automation.

Support federal stakeholders by gathering requirements and translating them into scalable Salesforce solutions.

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, page layouts, and custom objects.

Troubleshoot issues, manage data quality, and support integrations with other systems.

Ensure compliance with federal security policies and change‑management processes.

Provide user training and documentation to enhance adoption and platform efficiency.

Work within Agile or iterative development environments.

Support the DOJ Civil Division by maintaining, updating, and optimizing modernized Salesforce case management applications to ensure continuous operational availability and mission alignment.

Required Qualifications

Active Secret clearance (TS preferred)

3+ years of Salesforce administrator experience.

Proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce configuration.

Experience with Salesforce integration and API development.

Strong understanding of roles, profiles, flows, validation rules, and security settings.

Ability to work with technical and non‑technical federal stakeholders.

Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Experience supporting federal agencies or government contractors.

Familiarity with ATO processes, FedRAMP environments, or secure cloud operations.
