Job Description
Job Title: Founding Senior SDR
Location: San Francisco, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid: 3 days in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) | Monday and Friday remote
Company Early-stage SaaS company in the generative AI space for biotech and pharmaceutical regulatory documents.
Responsibilities
Build and drive top‑of‑funnel pipeline from scratch.
Target mid‑market biotech and pharma companies with US headquarters running 7 or more active clinical trials.
Engage senior regulatory leaders, medical writers, and AI innovation executives.
Work closely with an 8‑person AE team, qualifying and handing off leads.
Help build the outbound playbook from the ground up.
Execute outbound prospecting (75% self‑prospected, 25% from company‑supplied lists).
Contribute to the development of the company’s first SDR playbook.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 USD
Commission: Uncapped with accelerators
Year 1 OTE: $135,000 - $150,000 USD
Year 2 OTE: $155,000 - $170,000 USD

Requirements
2-5 years of B2B SDR/BDR or outbound sales experience required.
Outbound‑focused SaaS sales background required.
Life sciences, biotech, or pharma SaaS sales experience is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field required.
Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM software (HubSpot or Salesforce), and outreach/sequencing tools (Salesloft, Outreach, or equivalent).
Familiarity with data enrichment tools (WIZA, ZoomInfo, or equivalent) and AI/ML tools for outreach and pipeline generation.
Target Industry & Customers
Mid‑market biotech and pharmaceutical companies with US headquarters running 7 or more active clinical trials.
Decision‑makers: Head of Regulatory, Head of Drug Development, CMO, Head of AI for Regulatory, Head of AI Innovation for Drug Development.
