This position is responsible for quoting and rating proposals and renewal projections and approves cases within established authority guidelines.
Required Job Qualifications
Bachelor degree or 2 years experience in business
Math skills including the four basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, division & multiplication) and ability to estimate for mathematical reasonableness.
Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain business relationships.
Independent judgment and problem resolution skills.
Work management skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time and workload to meet deadlines.
Verbal and written communication skills to include correct grammar, word choice, precision, conciseness, structure, audience appropriate tone and language.
PC proficiency to include Word and Excel.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Knowledge of health care products and covered eligibility.
Knowledge of state and federal legislation governing underwriting practices.
Please note that this role is
HYBRID
with an in-office requirement of 3 days a week.
Compensation: $39,300.00 - $86,400.00
