Hybrid onsite in Alameda, CA - 2 days per week Required Skills & Experience 2+ years email marketing experience, preferably working in retail 1+ years SMS marketing experience, preferably working in retail Be highly detail oriented and strives for flawless execution Have exceptional skills in prioritizing and managing multiple projects and taking initiative Be extremely reactive and resourceful Have excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and external teams Be curious with a desire to continuously learn and expand knowledge Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-oriented work environment Understanding of email marketing best practices, audience segmentation, customer databases, A/B testing, email and SMS dynamic content/personalization Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience with Responsys, Bluecore, or other ESPs Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, or other analytics platforms Job Description The Email/SMS Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the execution of short- and long-term email and SMS marketing campaigns. Under the direction of the Sr. Email Marketing Manager, and directly reporting to the SMS & Email Marketing Manager, this role plays an important part of the team to execute email and SMS campaigns. This position sits within the Marketing department and may interact with analytics, creative, promotions, merchandising, marketing, eCommerce, as well as 3rd party vendors. Day to Day Responsibilities: Assist with the day-to-day management of production of email and SMS campaigns from start to end including creative trafficking, implementation, deployment, optimization, monitoring, reporting and analysis Liase with agency partners to perform QA and approvals for email/SMS Assist with updates to team documents including marketing calendars, shared presentations, etc. Assist with the creative development process including brief writing, giving feedback, and proofing Assist with weekly reporting updates, reading dashboards and providing a digest of information/ insights to team Assist with audience selection & requests to cross functional teams for email/ SMS campaigns Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary Compensation: $25.00-30.00/HR
