Position Overview
The Assistant Superintendent will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the golf course and clubhouse landscaping. Responsibilities include managing a crew of approximately 15 members, spraying chemicals and fertilizer, spreading fertilizer, hand watering, performing irrigation repair and regular maintenance, diagnosing irrigation issues, operating mowers, tractors, and other equipment. The role also oversees landscaping throughout the course and clubhouse areas. The Assistant Superintendent works directly with the Director of Agronomy and Golf Course Superintendent to coordinate daily tasks and implement the agronomic program. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to operate a digital workboard, run irrigation through the Toro Lynx program, use moisture management tools, GPS technology, and be willing to learn new techniques. Proper record keeping of irrigation flow totals and chemical and fertilizer applications is mandatory. The position requires a consistent, punctual, team-oriented attitude with a positive and friendly demeanor.

Required Experience
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3‑4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (degree preference in agronomy, horticulture, plant or soil science).
Valid driver's license and pesticide application license.
Ability to work outdoors and lift or move up to 100 pounds.
