Role Overview Fitch Ratings' U.S. and Canada Corporates Rating group is looking for a Senior Director to join our Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating corporate debt issuers while contributing to Fitch’s reputation for timely and insightful research that informs debt capital market decisions. This role entails serving as a primary analyst and may also include some managerial responsibilities. Qualitative credentials will weigh meaningfully in the selection of the candidate. Requirements
10+ years relevant experience in a capital markets and/or credit analysis role which must include some coverage or knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors
A keen sense of intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and a proven ability to dissect and articulate complex analytical topics
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing, mentoring and developing people and teams is a plus and a collaborative approach to a team‑based work environment
The agility to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
A Bachelor's degree is essential; an MBA, other advanced degrees, or a CFA designation is a plus
