Mortgage Lending Processor
Position Title: Mortgage Lending Processor Department: Mortgage Lending Reporting Relationships: Position Reports To: Assistant Mortgage Lending Manager Positions Supervised: N/A Position Purpose: Responsible for providing clerical support for all mortgage loan processing activities. Receives, evaluates, and reviews loan applications. Obtains and verifies necessary information and prepares documents for underwriting and closing review. Communicates loan status to all involved parties including buyer, seller, realtor, and title company representatives. Assists or refers members as necessary. Essential Functions and Basic Duties: Assumes responsibility for providing effective clerical and analytical support for all phases of mortgage lending. Thoroughly reviews all new loan applications. Ensures that all information is complete and accurate. Collects all necessary documentation in order to obtain loan approval. Analysis of but not limited to, all credit, income, rental, asset and collateral package. Keeps mortgage loan officers and underwriters informed regarding any issues during the process. Adheres to productivity standards and all credit union policies and procedures.
