Under general supervision, and according to well-defined policies and procedures, interviews patients and/or patients' representatives to obtain necessary personal, demographic, and financial information. Performs computer data entry and other record-keeping tasks related to the patients' pre-registration. Exhibits Service Excellence Standards at all times and incorporates into all interactions. A minimum of one year of healthcare clerical experience preferred Ability to interface with patients and handle confidential information Knowledge of various insurance information needed to complete accurate and timely pre-registrations Assure that scheduled patients have pre-authorization for their treatment when applicable Verify insurance eligibility on all scheduled patients during the pre-registration process Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required Minimum Rate
