OB-Hospitalist Outside of Indianapolis

Overview

We are seeking a Board‑Certified OB/GYN to join a 100% inpatient, shift‑based OB Hospitalist team at a Level III perinatal center and NICU in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetric care in a 9‑bed OB Emergency Department, Level III Perinatal Center, and NICU with approximately 1,800 deliveries per year.
• Manage high‑acuity obstetrics, including operative deliveries, VBAC support, and primary C‑sections.
• Work scheduled shifts with 24‑hour in‑house coverage, no clinic duties, and predictable scheduling (7–8 shifts/month, 84 shifts/year). PRN 1–3 shifts/month optional.
• Collaborate with in‑house obstetric anesthesia, CRNA, neonatology, and maternity support teams.

Qualifications

• Board‑Certified OB/GYN.
• Experience or interest in inpatient obstetrics preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

Full‑time: 7–8 shifts/month (84 shifts/year). PRN 1–3 shifts/month optional. 24‑hour shift 8 AM–8 AM.

• Paid $3,840 per 24‑hour shift.
• $322,000 annual income and higher.
• $25,000 sign‑on bonus.
• $4,500 CME + $1,000 license allowance.
• $10,000 relocation assistance.
• Malpractice with tail coverage; medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
• Visa support and J‑1 sponsorship available.
• Conrad 30 eligible, 100% success rate.
