As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a territory of wholesale customers, growing existing accounts, uncovering new opportunities, and driving meaningful revenue impact. This is a high-visibility role where your ability to connect, persuade, and close directly fuels both your customers’ success and Walthers’ growth.

What You’ll Own

Drive Growth & Win Business

• Take full ownership of your territory and grow revenue within existing wholesale accounts 

• Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities across products, programs, and channels 

• Lead proactive outreach (calls, emails, campaigns) that creates consistent pipeline and momentum 

• Confidently present solutions that align customer goals with Walthers’ offerings 

• Turn insights, trends, and customer conversations into actionable sales strategies 

Build Strong, Influential Relationships

• Become a trusted partner to your customers, understanding their business and helping them drive profitable growth

• Lead high-impact conversations that identify product needs and convert to additional sales 

• Stay consistently engaged with accounts through thoughtful follow-up and relationship-building 

• Represent Walthers as a knowledgeable, responsive, and solutions-oriented partner 

Shape the Business

• Bring voice-of-customer insights to influence programs, promotions, and product direction 

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations to deliver sales results 

• Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 

• 2–5+ years of inside sales, account management, or B2B sales experience 

• Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) 

• Demonstrated success growing existing accounts and closing new business 

• Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets 

• Proven ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and maintain long-term relationships

• High integrity, strong work ethic, and a solution-oriented mindset

• Interest in model railroading or hobby-related industries is a plus
