Our client, a fast growing Kids Apparel Company, is looking for a Design Director - Baby to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities:
- Develop designs based on style plans, sales needs, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with teams to maintain quality and aesthetic standards.
- Conduct competitive research and create trend reports.
- Lead the conceptualization of seasonal design concepts.
- Troubleshoot quality and technical issues.
- Manage handoff processes and approve materials.
- Foster a positive team dynamic and evaluate team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in fashion design.
- Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in design software and Mac platforms.
