Position Responsibilities
A Flowers Bakeries Area Sales Director supports direct‑store‑delivery (DSD) sales and Independent Distributors (ID). Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, engaging in sales activities, growing the customer base, seeking new selling opportunities in the market, and tracking sales data. The director builds and maintains solid relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution, and utilizes digital tools to showcase execution wins and growth opportunities.
The Area Sales Director works with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities, maximizing sales while applying consumer insights to adjust strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in general management or sales; experience as a sales representative, distributor, or other sales position required.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
Essential Job Requirements
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- At least 21 years of age.
Salary Range
Salary Range: $70,000 – $78,000.
