Position Overview
We are hiring an Area Sales Director for Flowers Bakeries with an immediate opening.
Responsibilities
- Support DSD (direct store delivery) sales and ID (Independent Distributors) efforts to manage customer relationships.
- Engage in sales activities, grow the customer base, seek new selling opportunities in the market, and track sales data.
- Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to ensure promotion and display execution in the market.
- Use digital tools to demonstrate execution wins and identify growth opportunities.
- Work with the Market Vice President and Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities, maximize sales, and adjust strategies using consumer insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in general management or sales, including experience as a sales rep, distributor, or other sales position.
- Bachelor’s degree—preferably in Sales or Business Administration—or equivalent experience.
Essential Job Requirements
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $72,000–$82,000. Full-time employees receive comprehensive health and medical benefits, 401(k) retirement savings plan, professional growth and leadership training, paid vacation, holidays, and parental leave. Benefits may vary by location.
