National Account Director – Walmart & Sam’s Club (Rogers, AR)
Position Summary
3M is seeking a National Account Director to lead the U.S. and Canada Consumer Business for Walmart and Sam’s Club. This strategic, results‑driven sales leader will drive growth across multiple brand portfolios through strong negotiation, analytical capability, and cross‑functional collaboration. The role is responsible for building and sustaining relationships with Walmart and Sam’s Club while managing major 3M brands including Filtrete™ Command™, Scotch®, Post‑it®, Scotch‑Brite®, ACE, ScotchBlue™ and 3M Safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Sales Account Managers, Business Analysts, and Replenishment Managers to deliver against key account objectives
- Drive growth, profitability, and strategic account performance
- Influence cross‑functional partners across Supply Chain, Analytics, Marketing, and Category teams
- Manage sales forecasts, monthly goals, promotional budgets, and performance targets
- Guide line reviews and all internal and external customer‑focused meetings
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
- Lead Customer Operating Plans, Joint Business Plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews
- Maintain a company vehicle as required and comply with vehicle history review processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Twelve (12) years of experience in Key Account Sales for regional and national chain accounts, including leadership or team management responsibility
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Experience calling on national key accounts
- Knowledge of customer‑ and dealer‑centric tools
- Demonstrated strength in sales leadership, proven ability to deliver results, meet objectives, and drive strategic negotiation and planning
- Experience with Analytics and Supply Chain preferred
Work Location & Travel
- On‑site: required to work at least four days a week at 3M Rogers, AR
- Travel: up to 20% domestic/international
- Relocation may be authorized
Compensation & Benefits
Expected compensation range: $250,253 - $305,864, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
