The Center for Movement Challenges (CFMC) is seeking a Social Media & Marketing Volunteer to support our digital outreach and storytelling efforts. CFMC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease and other movement challenges through evidence-based exercise, wellness programs, and community education.
This volunteer role is ideal for individuals interested in nonprofit communications, digital marketing, health advocacy, or community wellness , including students seeking hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with creating and scheduling content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Draft captions, short-form posts, and promotional content
Support marketing for events, workshops, and fundraising initiatives
Help maintain brand consistency across digital materials
Track basic engagement metrics and assist with reporting
Ideal Volunteer
Interest in nonprofit marketing, communications, or health advocacy
Strong written communication skills
Familiarity with social media platforms (Canva experience a plus)
Passion for mission-driven work and community wellness
