Duties and Responsibilities This is a primarily technical position rather than a creative one, though there are opportunities for creative input.
At this time, we are looking for an editing and motion graphics aficionado . This role will consist of about 40% editing, 40% motion graphics, and 20% on set (cameras/lights/etc.).
Skilled at editing, sound editing, color correction, and motion graphics.
Knowledgeable with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects, as well as audio software such as ProTools and/or Audition (Logic Pro is a plus).
Strong knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics required. Able to build motion graphics from scratch or work with pre-existing assets. Knowledge of AI tools in this area highly recommended.
A knowledge of codecs, file types, file structures, and post processes.
Able to work directly with multiple creative leads and managers to discuss and implement editorial notes.
Able to take ownership of work, but also able to hand off work to be finished by someone else, or to pick up where others have left off, when necessary.
Has an eye for crafting story, and for turning footage into narrative episodes within the guidelines of a show format or brand.
Capable of building and operating cameras during filming, including polished interview setups, profile shots, scrappy unscripted style, b‑roll, and more.
Capable of assisting with lighting and grip equipment, techniques, and strategies for both indoor and outdoor projects.
Can work effectively both as part of a film crew under a DP, and as an independent one‑man band without backup.
Able to record quality in‑camera sound on location.
Able to troubleshoot and handle problems on the go.
Comfortable and composed when engaging with a variety of people, from high‑profile guests to pedestrians, including occasional hostile situations because of politically‑charged content.
Successful Candidates Will Possess Able to juggle a variety of concurrent projects in different phases with competing priorities.

Salary Range The salary target for this role is $75,000 - $95,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
