Senior Marketing Copywriter | Marketing Agency | Hybrid in Charlotte, NC
Hybrid, full-time role based in Charlotte, NC — we collaborate in-office Tuesday through Thursday, with optional work-from-home days on Monday and Friday.

The Senior Copywriter is a key contributor on our Creative team, responsible for writing clear, effective, and engaging content across a range of B2B marketing channels.

You will work closely with Associate Creative Directors, Strategists, Art Directors, Designers, and subject matter experts including engineers to bring ideas to life with words. This role is built on teamwork, curiosity, and a willingness to dig in. You will ask smart questions, figure out how things actually work, and turn complex technical information into content that is clear, relevant, and engaging while using our proprietary AI platform.

You will work across both shortform and long-form content for clients in B2B original equipment manufacturing, industrial technology sectors. The focus is on strong execution, with opportunities to contribute ideas and support campaign development as part of a highly collaborative creative team. In other words, you will not just write what is asked. You will help make it better.

This is not just a writing role. It is a thinking role. The writing just proves it.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate and ideate with the Creative Director, ACDs, designers, strategists, and AI co-workers to execute work across channels.

Write clear, compelling copy across a mix of short-form and long-form deliverables from case studies and white papers to brochures, video scripts and campaign content.

Support campaign development by contributing ideas and messaging, helping bring concepts to life alongside Art Directors and Designers.

Translate technical and industrial subject matter into relevant, engaging, and benefit-driven content.

Conduct research using client provided materials, strategist inputs, AI co-workers and independent research to ensure accuracy and depth.

Use internal tools, including our AI platform, to improve efficiency and produce more relevant and consistent deliverables.

Participate in SME discovery interviews and use insights to inform content with the Strategists.

Ensure all content is aligned to brand, consistent in tone, and aligned to audience and channel needs.

Edit, proofread and collaborate with QA Specialists to improve content for clarity, accuracy, and quality.

YOUR REQUIRED EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

5 plus years of copywriting experience in an agency or in house environment

Strong portfolio showing both long-form writing such as blogs, case studies, and white papers and short-form campaign work such as ads, emails, and landing pages

Experience working with B2B brands, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or technical categories

Ability to take complex topics and turn them into clear, easy to understand content

Experience working from multiple information sources including client documents, briefs, SME input, and independent research

Experience using AI tools or generative AI content systems to support and improve writing deliverables

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience

Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
