Operational Excellence Manager-TX

Position SummaryThe Operational Excellence Manager leads continuous improvement efforts across the organization to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, eliminate waste, and drive sustainable performance improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and business processesDevelop and execute an Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with business goalsFacilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and structured problem-solving activitiesCoach and train employees in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement toolsIdentify performance gaps and partner with teams to implement sustainable solutionsEstablish and track improvement metrics, KPIs, and documented resultsSupport new product introductions, process changes, and capital projectsOversee ISO Certifications, training, audits, and team members associated with our certificationPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementCollaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership teamsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferredLean / Six Sigma experience required (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred)Proven & Progressive experience leading cross-functional improvement initiativesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Proficiency in ERP systems and Power BIManufacturing or industrial environment experience preferredSkills & Competencies:Change leadership and ability to influence at all levelsData-driven decision makingContinuous improvement mindsetCross-functional collaborationStrong organizational and follow-through skillsIntegrity, accountability, and adaptabilityWe are always looking for driven, talented people to join our team.Founded in 1996, MUM Industries, Inc. is the parent company to a diverse group of industrial product manufacturers: Integra Enclosures, EMF MFG, and StrongBox.
