A growing transportation and logistics organization in Tampa is seeking a Head of Business Development & Marketing to lead revenue-focused marketing and business growth initiatives.
This is a newly created, highly visible role with direct exposure to ownership. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on B2B growth leader who can build marketing infrastructure, generate pipeline, and partner closely with sales to drive measurable results.
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute revenue‑generating marketing strategies
- Create lead generation campaigns that drive qualified opportunities
- Partner closely with sales to improve messaging and close rates
- Develop pitch decks, presentations, one‑pagers, and outbound campaigns
- Strengthen company brand presence and digital visibility
- Manage CRM workflows, lead tracking, reporting, and funnel performance
- Create content that supports business development efforts
- Build scalable systems and processes from the ground up
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B marketing, growth marketing, or business development experience
- Strong revenue‑first mindset with pipeline generation experience
- Proven success partnering directly with sales teams
- Hands‑on campaign execution and content creation skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership presence
- Collaborative personality with ability to influence cross‑functionally
- Transportation / logistics industry experience is a plus
