The Planet Group is seeking a UX Architect to join one of our well-known healthcare clients, supporting complex, enterprise-scale digital products focused on big data, workflow orchestration, and healthcare user experiences.
This is a senior-level UX strategy and systems design role, ideal for someone who goes beyond traditional UX/UI and thrives in architecting scalable product experiences, workflows, and design systems across highly matrixed environments.
- Location: Irving, TX (preferred) or Chicago, IL
- Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday
- Pay: $90–102/hr W2 DOE + benefit options
- Duration: Contract with potential to convert
Key Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end information architecture, interaction models, and workflow orchestration for complex healthcare products
- Create user journeys, task flows, wireflows, and conceptual models for enterprise-scale platforms
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to align product strategy and execution
- Translate research, analytics, and behavioral insights into scalable UX frameworks and system-level experiences
- Drive design systems thinking and architectural consistency across platforms and ecosystems
- Support prototyping, usability validation, and iterative workflow optimization
- Influence product strategy through systems thinking and user-centered design leadership
What They’re Looking For:
- 5–10+ years of UX Architecture, Product Design, Information Architecture, or UX Strategy experience
- Healthcare industry experience required
- Experience designing for big data, analytics-heavy, or workflow-intensive platforms
- Strong systems thinking and experience architecting complex digital experiences
- Expertise with Figma and Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Experience with design systems, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration
- Portfolio showcasing workflows, architecture diagrams, systems thinking, and big data UX/UI work
- Practical experience with Generative AI and understanding of GenAI concepts required
- GenAI certifications preferred
- Coding/front-end experience is a plus
This is NOT a purely visual design role. The team is specifically looking for someone who can conceptualize product strategy, architect scalable user experiences, and bridge the gap between UX, product, and engineering.
