Senior Reporter is a full-time remote position focused on covering the federal workforce, agency leadership, and Congress, involving daily news reporting, feature writing, and event coverage.
Key Responsibilities

Break news and produce daily reporting on federal agencies, Congress, and the White House
Write longer stories, features, and interviews, covering major policy developments
Develop original reporting through strong sourcing and represent the organization at events

Required Qualifications

7+ years of journalism or related experience covering government or policy
Strong reporting and writing skills with a record of accurate daily journalism
Ability to explain complex issues in clear, direct language
Experience working in a fast-moving newsroom
Strong understanding of AP Style
