KJO Media is hiring: Motion Graphics Artists - Video Editor in Kansas City

Motion GFX Artist / Video Editor

KJO Media is on the lookout for a talented Motion Graphics Artist / Editor to join our team. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience to work closely with Project Managers and our Creative Director to edit and create animations for a wide variety of clients. The perfect candidate would have a great eye for design, the technical ability to bring designs to life, 3D animation experience, and the ability to storytell through editing.

This position would be focused on motion graphics and post production, but any experience filming on the production side of things would be an added bonus.

Specific Responsibilities

Work alongside our Project Managers and Creative Director to edit and create finished videos

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cinema 4D

Photoshop/Illustrator experience is a plus

This position will require graphic design ability. At its simplest form, you will need to be able to design text-based motion graphics for various videos.

Post Production: Organize footage, cut selects, source music, and edit interview content into a story.

Strong attention to detail, specifically in following a creative brief or working through client feedback

Must live near Kansas City Metro and work on-site at our office location. This will NOT be a remote position.
