Must be at least 18 years of age.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a criminal background check through the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS).

Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation and communication.

Working Requirements

Proven experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok

Strong video production and editing skills (iPhone proficiency is great; tools like CapCut, Canva, or similar)

Understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices

Confidence both behind and in front of the camera

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines

Bonus: Experience in healthcare, human services, or other mission-driven organizations

North Star Oregon is seeking a creative, self-driven Social Media Coordinator to help grow and elevate our presence across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This is an exciting opportunity to use storytelling and digital content to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Plan, film, and edit engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Stories)

Create, schedule, and manage posts across all social media platforms

Develop compelling content that highlights our mission, services, and community impact

Monitor engagement metrics and refine strategy based on performance

Collaborate with leadership to support campaigns, messaging, and brand voice
