Student Graphic Designer Job at Inside Higher Ed in Athens

Position Summary

Love design? Want real-world experience while you’re in school? The Southern Regional Extension Forestry Office (SREF), located in the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, is looking for a student graphic designer to join the team. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of creative projects and build hands‑on experience designing publications, websites, fact sheets, marketing materials, and more. It’s a great opportunity to grow your portfolio while supporting projects that make an impact across the southern forestry community.
Responsibilities

Create multi‑concept diagrams, banners and marketing materials
Design & redesign partner websites
Social media posting
Other duties as needed
Qualifications

Proficient in InDesign and Illustrator (or in‑training)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Work independently and communicate effectively with partners

Physical demands: computer work; lifting of printed materials
