The Role and What You’ll Do
160over90 is seeking an Account Manager to join the Hospitality Team. The Account Manager will play an integral role in leading and executing hospitality‑focused experiential programming for key 160/90 clients across multiple US markets.

Lead the management, planning, coordination, and execution of client’s activation and event strategy and execution across multiple US markets

Interact daily with client, partner agencies, properties, vendors, and other stakeholders relevant to support client activation initiatives

Maintain initiative‑taking, positive, and open line of communication with client and account teams to ensure understanding of deliverable timelines and roles and responsibilities

Participate in the ideation, development and implementation of activation plans against the established criteria

Liaise/interface with internal cross‑functional departments and with external agency partners and vendors

Develop presentations and client materials to support activation and/or event strategy and implementation

Manage all creative ideation approval processes with key stakeholders and clients

Assist with strategic and creative concept development

Provide oversight and management of success metrics, internal tracking documents, weekly updates and program recaps

Maintain final electronic files through the process as required by company standard operating procedures

Manage activation related administrational and budget/accounting matters, including payments to vendors

Responsible for accurate program forecasting and updating business management system with current financials up until the file is turned over to operations

Ability to negotiate preferred rates, terms and conditions, along with understanding of common contractual industry elements that influence key decisions

High level of accuracy and diligence

You Have These

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum of 5+ years of agency or client‑based experiential marketing, account management, hospitality or similar planning background

Certified Meeting Professional, Meeting Manager, Event Professional (CMP, CMM, CSEP), Project Management certifications or similar preferred

Knowledge in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) Industry

Experience in planning, sourcing, and designing with a hotel, convention center, DMC, production company, or 3rd party agency

Previous experience managing internal team members

Capable of managing multiple projects independently and diligently while delivering under time pressure toward pre‑defined goals

Prior experience managing day‑to‑day relationships with client, agency(s) and vendors

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail

Enthusiastic and flexible team player with proactive approach to think strategically and creatively

Ability to problem‑solve independently and in groups

Willing and able to work non‑standard work hours, weekends and travel as required

Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with passion, a can‑do attitude, and minimal direction

A team player with a positive attitude who can handle stressful situations and deadlines calmly

The rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job‑related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short‑ and long‑term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum: $60,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum: $80,000 annually
