Overview
Serves a critical role in the execution of internal agency communications promoting the mission, vision, values and winning propositions of Heritage Christian Services, Inc.
Pay for this position: $ 74000 / yr - $80000 / yr
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting
Responsibilities
Creates and manages internal communication initiatives for diverse audiences, including staff, families and donors, across the agency.
Responsible for the agency’s internal communication plan including the implementation of blogs, vlogs, websites, portals, social media, email/direct mail, scripts and other opportunities, as well as determining messaging approach and appropriate channels and overseeing implementation
Coordinates creative assets for print, broadcast, video and online projects primarily for internal audiences
Leads planning and coordinates events such as agency meetings, pilot programs and cultural activities, virtual and hybrid
Prepares timely reports and insights from content management and agency platforms to measure performance and plan for improvements, recommending improvements for communication effectiveness
Handles corporate listening activities like employee surveys, focus groups, etc.
Drafts internal communications, which includes ghost writing, and ensures alignment with agency priorities and leadership messaging
Supports promotions of agency benefits and activities working with other agency staffs
Handles administrative tasks and other duties as assigned, including involvement in project teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in fields related to communication and/or organizational development preferred
Minimum one to three years of experience in the profession
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft platforms including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Stream and Teams preferred
Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets agency motor vehicle standards, plus reliable transportation to and from work
