This company is based in Manhattan and they operate on a hybrid schedule (in-office Tuesday-Thursday/remote Monday & Friday) Annual Base Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000.
This company is seeking a Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor for several consumer and professional brands. This person should have experience working with healthcare media, influencers, and with experts such as physicians. Healthcare/regulated experience is a must. You will be joining a well-established division and will be responsible for overseeing junior team members and day-to-day activity on multiple accounts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing a plus but not required
7+ years of relevant agency PR experience; experience in healthcare preferred
2-3+ years of management experience
Anticipatory and proactive in nature coupled with consistency in following up
Strong time management skills; ability to work quickly under pressure without sacrificing quality and maintaining impeccable attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Zoom, and Slack
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (strong writing, copy-editing, and presentation skills)
Proven track record of generating results
Highly organized, responsive, and punctual
Big picture thinker with ability to ideate and execute end-to-end client strategy, down to the small details
Ability to synthesize a wide variety of information, then set both high level and detailed strategy accordingly
Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage client accounts, including managing junior staff, handling crisis, and sticking to budgets
Problem solving skills and inner drive to improve efficiency and delivery beyond expectations for both the agency and for clients
Hands-on mentality and strong work ethic; ability to thrive and remain highly organized in a fast-paced environment
Healthcare Media Relations:
Develops and maintains strong relationships with long-lead and short-lead media (broadcast a plus)
Provides leadership in media strategy, media & influencer relations and understanding of media & influencer landscape
Drive strategy and execute promptly, ensuring no email or question goes by unread
Team Management:
Manage team effectiveness and project hours, optimizing for billability and profitability
Manage and mentor AE/SAEs to further their professional and personal growth
Be able to "manage up" and effectively communicate issues/successes to senior staff with a sense of ownership and urgency; continually identify areas for team improvement
Client and Account Management:
Manage day-to-day work flow across direct reports, peers, clients, vendors and freelancers, including editing and approving key client deliverables, and reporting into account lead(s) and/or update CEO as needed
Assist in the development of new business proposals
Develop forward-facing six- or twelve-month plans and execute overarching brand initiatives and promotional campaigns with an emphasis on proposal development, execution timeline, and budget management, with vendor coordination as necessary
Organize and run in-person client meetings with poise, presence, and strategic thinking
Ensure all client initiatives are completed in a timely manner, and ultimately deliver business results
Run client calls that demand on-the-spot recommendations and proactive thinking (i.e. above and beyond reading off the agenda); demonstrate the ability to anticipate client needs and proactively answer questions that the client hasn't yet asked
Develop and grow client relationships
Develop KPI measurement strategy and deliver on it
