Role Description

The Camp Music Specialist is responsible for planning and leading engaging music-based activities for campers, fostering a love for music in a fun and supportive environment. Daily responsibilities include teaching music techniques, facilitating group performances, and supervising campers to ensure their safety and well-being. You will collaborate with other camp staff to enhance the overall camp experience and adapt activities to fit the age and skill levels of participants. This is an on-site role, located in Caldwell, NJ.
Qualifications

Strong skills in Music Performance and Music Education, with an ability to inspire and mentor young musicians.
Knowledge of Music Production and familiarity with the Music Industry to provide a comprehensive learning experience for campers.
Proficient in general music instruction and coaching, covering various instruments or vocal techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Prior experience working with children and/or in a camp setting is highly desirable.
Passion for youth development and fostering creativity through music.
Must be able to work on-site in a camp environment in Caldwell, NJ.
Relevant certifications in music education or performance are a plus.
