We’re looking for an Account Executive with a passion for sports, culture, and storytelling. You’re tapped into the moments and trends shaping the industry and are excited to help turn those insights into stories, media opportunities, collaborative connections, and earned/social focused campaigns that actually move people (and metrics).

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Tell Stories That Stick
You’re a strong communicator who knows how to make every message count – whether it’s a press release, client email, or presentation.

Write and present with clarity, confidence, and persuasion

Build strong relationships through responsiveness, trust, and collaboration

Manage client communications with professionalism and poise

Contribute to client presentations and reports, highlighting relevant themes, trends, and implications for program development

Make Media Moves
You know how to get people talking – and who to talk to.

Proactively pitch stories and develop relationships with influencers and media across platforms

Build and maintain strong media lists, pitches, and messaging aligned to client objectives

Write and distribute press materials, including releases, fact sheets, and media kits

Identify media opportunities and proactively solve challenges with smart solutions that are on‑brand and on‑strategy

Bring Ideas to Life
You play a key role in building and executing integrated programs that show up across channels.

Contribute to big ideas across events, partnerships, influencer programs, content, and more

Support program execution and ensure everything runs smoothly, on paper and on the ground

Manage project plans, status updates, reporting, program materials, and recaps

Engage with communities and influencers across social platforms

Drive Strategy That Delivers
You bring curiosity and a growing understanding of your clients’ business, brand, and category, using that knowledge to contribute to smart, insight‑driven programs.

Conduct media monitoring, competitive audits, and cultural research

Support strategic account planning and contribute ideas rooted in trends and insights

Help translate cultural moments and sports trends into relevant, actionable opportunities

Assist in developing client‑ready materials that inform and inspire

Own the Details That Matter

Track program budgets and support vendor billing in partnership with Finance

Ensure accuracy in timelines, documentation, and reporting

Participate in team allocation and resourcing conversations

Lead and Lift Others

Help guide fellows and/or Junior Account Executives on projects

Provide clear direction, feedback, and support when needed

Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team environment

Participate in interviewing and onboarding junior talent

WHAT YOU BRING

A bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience, we value real‑world learning, too

2-4 years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing ideally across sports, lifestyle, entertainment, or consumer brands

A genuine passion for sports and cultural trends, and how brands show up authentically within them

Experience pitching media and supporting earned media campaigns

Clear, confident communication skills – written, verbal, and in the room

Familiarity with influencer engagement and social media platforms

Experience supporting integrated campaigns across events, partnerships, influencers, and content

Based in the New York Metro area, with the ability to be in our Manhattan office as needed

Compensation

$66,500 / year
