Description
Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is a long‑term care pharmacy serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the United States. Operating since 2007 as part of the long‑standing Tarrytown Pharmacy community, we provide specialized pharmacy services across multiple states. We are seeking an Account Manager to maintain relationships with existing clients and agencies.

Account Manager Role
This field‑based position involves approximately 80% travel and serves as a liaison between our pharmacy operations and client agencies. Duties include ensuring service consistency, troubleshooting, training, onboarding, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain trusted relationships with assigned accounts and agency staff.

Visit client locations throughout the service area and provide pharmacy service audits and training.

Document findings in the pharmacy CRM tool and submit daily reports via email to designated contacts.

Comprehend pharmacy services and effectively communicate processes to accounts.

Resolve complaints and grievances related to pharmacy services in conjunction with the pharmacy team.

Educate clients on pharmacy processes.

Act as an innovative liaison, discussing ideas with pharmacy staff to meet consumer demands.

Participate in professional meetings, conferences, and sponsored events as requested.

Manage complex client concerns and requests professionally to ensure resolution and adequate follow‑up.

Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent experience; or 3+ years as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP).

Working knowledge of pharmacy applications such as FrameWorkLTC, ECM, or DocuTrack preferred.

Familiarity with electronic and paper medication administration records (MARs).

Reliable transportation and a clean Driver’s License; frequent travel required.

Basic computer proficiency with email and Microsoft Office.

Detail‑oriented and able to thrive in fast‑paced situations.

Experience leading a team in a metrics‑based environment.

Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal).

High school diploma required; college experience is a plus.

U.S. citizen or permanent resident; sponsorship not available.
