UX/Interaction Designer IV Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 2 days on Site)

Requirements Technical degree or related work experience
Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web-based applications, mobile applications, and consumer-facing websites/applications
Excellent IT and programming skills
Understanding of current web technologies and principles such as responsive design, front-end markup, and libraries (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax)
Figma, UX Design, Java
Understanding of Content Management Systems, Web Services, and APIs
Responsibilities Evaluate existing applications to assess UX effectiveness
Measure human-computer interaction (HCI) elements of design
Use online tools like screen readers to assess media effectiveness
Conduct user testing for applications, software, and websites
Create and implement interaction models, user flows, and UI specifications
Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs with team members
Develop and maintain design wireframes and best practices specifications for new projects
