Position Description
The Marketing Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to lead the company’s marketing efforts, leveraging creative ideas and leadership skills to enhance brand reputation, culture, and recognition.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the entire RFP/RFQ cycle from beginning to end.
Utilize Microsoft Planner to communicate updates on leads and current pursuits to shareholders.
Implement client strategy to collect intent and help with overall messaging and pre‑positioning efforts.
Create client strategies and capture plans to serve as guides in producing message‑driven content for submissions.
Understand and communicate the RFQ, RFP, and interview requirements to the pursuit team.
Communicate submissions to internal stakeholders.
Ensure all submissions are complete in a timely manner, consider brand, and present accurate information.
Write, edit, proofread, format, and assemble required documents for submission.
Lead the project interview preparation and team coordination to create presentations and leave‑behind materials.
Collaborate on content for the company’s internal and external marketing pages.
Ensure the content on the company website is up‑to‑date using the CMS system.
Content Management
Update and maintain project data, employee resumes, external company information, client intake, and communication in the internal CRM system.
Create and update graphic libraries.
Work with third‑party vendors for photography needs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on content for the company’s internal and external marketing pages.
Ensure the website content is updated promptly and accurately.
Marketing Initiatives
Work with internal stakeholders to develop and execute an annual marketing plan for identified clients and projects.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and publish monthly news items, project updates, press releases, and additional content for the company website.
Create and distribute internal email communications and digital newsletters.
Produce and maintain brochures, project sheets, resumes, banners, flyers, deliverables, and other marketing collateral.
Establish strong relationships with partners and outreach on events such as job fairs and marketing boot‑hows.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years in marketing, preferentially within the AEC industry.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar field.
Experience in proposal and presentation planning, layout, and development.
Passion for developing fresh and creative approaches to marketing.
Ability to tailor writing to client audiences and project types.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, including advanced use of Microsoft Planner and the M365 suite.
Strong competency in brand consistency, advertising, and external communications.
Proven ability to forecast tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Comfortable working under pressure and driving tactical implementations when needed.
Strong analytical skills and high level of accuracy.
Comprehensive understanding of social media and digital presence management.
