Job Overview
The Global Product Manager (GPM) is a key strategic position within the Advanced Chemistries Business Unit. As the Global Product Manager, you will own the performance and overall lifecycle of your respective product line. The GPM drives growth by leading the assigned product strategic plan for the respective verticals and applications, understanding customer pain points, and developing and executing strategies to drive growth with existing customers and discovering new opportunities. This role will ensure alignment with the regional commercial, marketing, service, R&D, and operations teams. A successful GPM is customer focused, strategic, action oriented, has strong organizational agility, and leads by influence to identify and implement growth initiatives. Further, the GPM leads new product launches and commercialization.

This position is part of the Advanced Chemistries Business Unit team located in Loveland, Colorado, and will be hybrid.

Typical day responsibilities

Responsible for overall success of relevant products including achievement of revenue, margin, and technical performance/quality metrics

Support development and execution of strategy for portfolio growth by understanding global market trends and prioritizing strategic initiatives

Drive Launch Excellence through development of product go-to-market strategy to ensure critical success metrics are achieved for new products and commercial initiatives

Establish/maintain value proposition for New Product Introduction and existing products

Develop evidence driven competitive strategy to ensure that our products and solutions are differentiated and defensible

Build 1–3-year global product forecasts for on-market products. Identify and prioritize product-specific evidence generation to support market shaping strategies

Inform NPD roadmap decisions and product definitions; develop/validate business cases for new product opportunities

Identify market trends and needs for products and ensure that product designs match customer demand while delivering profitable market share

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field; MBA preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience; product management / commercial experience preferred

Strong critical thinking skills: ability to synthesize a collection of facts into logical and actionable conclusions

Strong written and oral communication skills for direct communication with customers, colleagues, and partners at all levels and across all functions and regions of the organization

Able to elicit and understand customer needs and translate customer needs into product requirements

Able to identify and prioritize the tasks necessary to meet long- and short-term objectives, effectively manage time and multi-task to achieve these objectives

Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time; both domestic and international

Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
