Overview
The Marketing Operations Specialist will partner with executives, directors, and managers to design and execute local and national marketing plans, projects, and campaigns that elevate brand and service awareness among current and prospective members. This role serves as a key execution partner to the SVP of Marketing, independently managing high-volume marketing initiatives and translating strategic direction into actionable plans that move from concept to completion with minimal executive oversight.

Primary Functions
• Work interdependently with executives, directors, and managers to implement and execute marketing plans and campaigns.
• Serve as a key execution partner to the SVP of Marketing with authority to independently manage a high volume of initiatives.
• Translate strategy into actionable plans and ensure initiatives progress from concept to execution with minimal oversight.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Operations

Propose, develop, and implement marketing plans aligned with short‑ and long‑term strategic goals in collaboration with the VP of Marketing.

Independently manage and execute high‑priority initiatives delegated by the SVP & VP of Marketing.

Translate executive‑level strategy into tactical project plans with clear timelines, resource allocation, and measurable outcomes.

Develop, implement, and enforce standardized campaign intake, prioritization, and launch processes.

Manage department‑wide campaign calendar and capacity planning to align with strategic objectives.

Rapidly reprioritize projects as organizational needs shift while maintaining clarity and accountability across the team.

Serve as the operational hub between Marketing, IT, Compliance, Branch Operations, and executive leadership.

Marketing Technology

Maintain governance of marketing automation platforms (HubSpot strongly preferred).

Own and administer the department’s project management system (Asana), including workflow architecture, templates, and task governance.

Ensure proper tagging, segmentation, and UTM tracking discipline across digital campaigns.

Partner with Business Intelligence and IT to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity.

Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and reporting through technology.

Campaign Execution Oversight

Oversee operational execution of campaigns across digital, print, email, social, and branch channels.

Monitor campaign timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Ensure campaign assets move efficiently through review, compliance, and launch processes.

Oversee vendor coordination related to print, promotional materials, and digital execution.

Reporting & Performance Measurement

Own campaign performance reporting and build standardized dashboards to track KPIs and ROI.

Present clear, concise performance summaries to marketing leadership.

Monitor marketing budget allocation and vendor spend pacing.

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing complex projects, operational workflows, or cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.

At least 3 years of experience using project management software (advanced proficiency in Asana preferred).

Experience with marketing automation, especially HubSpot, strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent initiatives, building efficient systems, and analyzing performance data.

Qualifications and Performance Standards

Rapid learner and technologically adept with a deep understanding of technology’s business applications.

Additional Skills and Abilities

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Photoshop.

Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.

Keyboard proficiency and accuracy.

Valid driver’s license.

Physical demands include sitting, talking, hearing, using hands/fingers, and regularly lifting up to 20 pounds.

Work environment typically moderate to high noise levels.

Regulatory compliance with BSA, OFAC, AML regulations and related policies; confidentiality of member and organization information required.

Physiological and Mental Demands

Regular sitting, speaking, hearing, and use of hands for tool operation.

Standing, walking, and reaching with hands or arms as needed.

Ability to maintain concentration, attention to detail, and initiative for task completion.

Clear vision required for close and distance tasks; color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception also requested.
