Program Supervisor
JCCA's Youth ACT program provides intensive, community-based mental health services through a multidisciplinary team approach. Services are:
Youth-guided and family-driven
Trauma-informed and evidence-based
Focused on improving stability, functioning, and long-term outcomes
Our team works collaboratively to deliver flexible, responsive care that meets youth and families where they are.
Position Overview
As the Program Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in supervising staff, delivering high-quality clinical services, and ensuring coordinated, individualized care for youth and families.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining supervision, direct service, and crisis response in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services (50%)
Provide direct services including treatment planning, monitoring, and crisis intervention
Deliver community-based, family-centered care
Support youth with complex behavioral health needs and histories of hospitalization
Supervision & Team Leadership (25%)
Supervise Youth ACT staff, including:
Clinical Support Staff
Youth Peer Support
Family Peer Support
Provide coaching, guidance, and side-by-side field supervision
Conduct regular individual supervision meetings
Documentation & Compliance (25%)
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
Support adherence to ACT model standards and regulatory requirements
On-Call Responsibilities
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (evenings/weekends)
Respond to crisis situations as needed
Additional compensation provided for on-call coverage
Qualifications
NYS Licensed: LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT
3–5 years of experience working with:
Youth with serious emotional disturbances
Families with complex, multi-system needs
Crisis intervention and behavioral health settings
Strong leadership, organizational, and clinical judgment skills
Ability to lead, coach, and support multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think creatively and adapt in dynamic situations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and federal guidelines
Understanding of:
Social Determinants of Health
Trauma-informed care
Racial equity and social justice frameworks
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking)
Salary: $77K - $83K
