Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced leader to join our Short‑Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) as a Program Supervisor. This role is big‑picture and multi‑site focused, coaching and mentoring Program Supervisors and their teams across cottages to ensure consistent, high‑quality, trauma‑informed care.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
Supervise, coach, and develop Therapeutic Youth Counselors
Lead scheduling, training engagement, and performance feedback
Foster a positive, accountable team culture
Model trauma‑informed leadership and conflict resolution
Respond to emergencies on‑site
Operate within residential and community environments
Cottage Operations
Manage daily program rhythms, routines, and activities
Ensure youth basic needs are consistently met (appointments, clothing, supplies, rituals, structure)
Oversee activity planning (on‑site and community‑based)
Support fiscal and administrative functions within budget parameters
Trauma‑Informed Practice & Crisis Leadership
Apply and mentor staff in ARC, CRM, ProAct principles, and other program modalities
Lead and debrief crisis interventions
Ensure crisis response aligns with agency care and supervision standards
Support strength‑based, individualized case planning
Compliance & Documentation Oversight
Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL), Joint Commission (TJC), and agency standards
Oversee documentation quality and timeliness
Serve as an agency representative when needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent CDSS‑recognized experience
Two years of experience working with the population served (or equivalent)
Supervisory or management experience preferred
Ability to meet Community Care Licensing requirements
Work Environment & Schedule
On‑site role in Turlock, CA
Shift: Sunday 3:00 pm–11:00 pm; Monday & Tuesday 12:00 pm–8:00 pm; Wednesday & Thursday 3:00 pm–11:00 pm
Occasional flexibility required to meet program and client needs
