Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree and one (1) year of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Evidence of a Bachelor’s Degree
Experience working at an institution of higher education
Experience working with honors programs or academically high‑achieving college students
Experience with creating, planning, and implementing student events
Experience supervising and developing student and/or professional staff
Experience in mentoring, training and supporting student leaders
Experience in managing multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail
Experience working with a marketing team to design material for events
Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, and faculty
Ability to creatively strategize and be innovative in solving problems and addressing student needs
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Responsibilities
Create, coordinate, and implement engaging student events for on‑campus and off‑campus students, including wellness, academic enrichment, community service, social activities, and Barrett signature events.
Supervise, train, and evaluate student workers, including hiring, onboarding, task delegation, performance development, and mentorship.
Develop and execute effective marketing and outreach strategies to increase event visibility, encourage student participation, and enhance community connectedness.
Mentor and cultivate student leaders, helping them develop confidence, professionalism, and leadership skills.
Provide consistent reports and updates to leadership regarding program success, student engagement trends, and opportunities for enhancement.
Forecast annual budget needs, manage purchasing of goods and services, monitor expenditures, and ensure alignment with approved budget limits to maintain fiscal compliance.
Participate in college committees and signature college events as needed.
Work with Student Organizations to help support their purchasing needs and support the Student Organizations Advisors.
$45,000 per year
