The Marketing Coordinator (Co-Op & Vendor Partnerships) supports the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of vendor-funded marketing initiatives across BrandsMart’s digital and in-store channels. This role works closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, and vendor partners to help maximize co-op funding opportunities while ensuring campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and in alignment with brand standards.
This position is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented marketing professional looking to grow within retail marketing, partnership marketing, and promotional campaign management.
Core Focus Areas
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating vendor-funded marketing programs across digital, print, email, and in-store channels.
Support communication with vendor partners regarding marketing opportunities, campaign timelines, approvals, and proof-of-performance requirements.
Help track co-op funding allocations, campaign participation, and vendor commitments.
Maintain organized records of vendor agreements, approvals, invoices, and supporting documentation.
Work closely with Merchandising teams to align promotional support with category priorities and key sales events.
Campaign Coordination & Execution
Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns across website placements, email campaigns, in-store signage, DOOH screens, print, and promotional materials.
Ensure campaign assets, pricing, and promotional messaging are accurate and delivered on schedule.
Partner with Creative and Marketing teams to gather assets, route approvals, and manage production timelines.
Support seasonal campaigns, tentpole sales events, and promotional initiatives.
Reporting & Administrative Support
Assist with campaign reporting, proof-of-performance recaps, and vendor summaries.
Track marketing calendars, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Help compile post-campaign insights and performance data.
Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and internal documentation related to co-op marketing activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, Media, Creative, and Operations teams to support campaign execution.
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for internal coordination related to vendor marketing programs.
Ensure all campaigns align with BrandsMart brand standards and promotional guidelines.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in marketing, partnerships, account coordination, or retail marketing support.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with marketing calendars, campaign coordination, or vendor communication preferred.
