JR1190If you are a current University of Northern Iowa employee and would like to apply for this position, login to UNI Works and type “Find Jobs” in the search bar to view and apply for open positions.**Full Consideration Date:**5/27/2026**Job Description:**Under general supervision, manages complex payroll and leave processes for all employee categories by maintaining and auditing accrual balances, monitoring time and attendance accuracy, and processing payroll-related adjustments in compliance with university policies, collective bargaining agreements, and state regulations; reconciles payroll and leave data; coordinates third‐party deductions; supports system testing and upgrades for time and absence modules; prepares required payroll reports for internal and external agencies; and serves as a primary payroll resource for employees and departments by resolving timekeeping and accrual inquiries, ensuring accurate electronic payment elections, supporting payroll document management, and providing responsive customer service across Student, Merit, Professional & Scientific, and Faculty payroll functions.**Minimum Eligibility Requirements:**Five years of clerical office experience, including three years of experience with bookkeeping procedures, or any combination of directly related post high school education in an accredited school and directly related clerical experience which totals five years.**Position Details:**Job Category: MeritType of Position: RegularService Schedule: Calendar YearWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pmPay Grade: 13Starting Hourly Rate: $23.32**Application Instructions:**All application materials received by May 27, 2026, will be given full consideration.
