Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Marketing and Business Development Manager for a leading full-service law firm client. This is an onsite opportunity based in Houston, Texas, with flexibility to work from The Woodlands office as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a collaborative and strategic Marketing and Business Development Manager to support continued growth initiatives across Texas offices, with a strong focus on Houston and The Woodlands. This role will partner closely with attorneys, firm leadership, and marketing team members to drive business development strategies, client engagement initiatives, and market visibility efforts across multiple practice groups. The ideal candidate brings strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with experience supporting professional services or legal industry marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and execute marketing and business development initiatives across attorneys, practice groups, and office locations

Manage pitches, proposals, client-facing events, sponsorships, and networking opportunities to support attorney business development goals

Coordinate marketing communications, media relations, speaking engagements, and thought leadership initiatives throughout Texas markets

Develop and maintain marketing materials, attorney biographies, digital content, and contact databases to ensure consistency and accuracy

Research market trends, industry opportunities, and competitive intelligence to identify growth and visibility opportunities

Collaborate closely with attorneys, firm leadership, and marketing team members on strategic growth and client engagement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of legal marketing experience with exposure to business development initiatives and client engagement strategies

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and presentation development experience

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and marketing or design-related software platforms

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $90,000+ depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to join a nationally recognized and rapidly growing law firm.
