We are looking for a Marketing Content Creator who can bring ideas to life, stay aligned with our brand, and create content that helps move the business forward.

Atlantic is Maine's leading credit union, and our growth over the past few years has been significant. We are a hands-on marketing team that moves quickly, thinks creatively, and focuses on getting work done. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute and take ownership in that kind of environment.

This role is part creator, part storyteller, and someone who takes initiative to turn ideas into action.

What you will do

You will create content that represents Atlantic clearly and consistently.

This includes video, social posts, blogs, in-branch materials, and digital content that aligns with marketing priorities. You will generate ideas and turn them into finished work that supports campaigns and day-to-day marketing needs.

Everything you create should reflect the Atlantic brand. It should be thoughtful, accurate, and aligned with how we communicate with members.

Your day-to-day work will vary. Some days will involve capturing or editing content. Others will focus on writing, reviewing data, planning upcoming work, or supporting broader marketing initiatives. This role requires the ability to shift between creative work and executional tasks as needed.

You will manage ongoing content and social media activity, paying attention to what is performing well and adjusting your approach over time.

You will use data to improve your work and understand what drives results. The goal is to create content that contributes to growth, engagement, and product awareness.

What you will be responsible for

Creating video, social posts, blogs, and digital content
Developing content ideas and following through on execution
Managing social media posting, engagement, and consistency
Applying trends in a way that aligns with the Atlantic brand
Reviewing performance and improving content over time
Using tools, including AI, to improve efficiency and quality
Identifying ways to streamline workflows and improve how work gets done
Creating content that supports member growth and product awareness
Supporting marketing efforts such as promotions, updates, recaps, and campaign execution
Assisting with financial education programming and scholarship coordination

Requirements

Who you are

1-3 years of experience
Takes initiative without waiting for direction
Balances creativity with execution
Stays organized across multiple projects
Understands what content fits the brand and what does not
Accepts feedback and uses it to improve
Brings forward ideas and completes them
You also:

Have strong video creation and editing skills
Have experience managing or growing social media accounts
Are comfortable learning and using new tools and technologies
