Role overview
CarGurus is seeking a summer Product Manager Intern to join our Dealer team, supporting the Marketing squad. Your mission is to empower dealers to achieve their goals by leveraging the CarGurus platform to market their inventory. You will use product performance data, dealer feedback, and consumer insights to build features that deliver value to dealers while balancing the needs of car shoppers.
This is a full‑time, paid internship for Summer 2026. You must be enrolled in a full‑time undergraduate program, eligible to work 40 hours a week from June 2026 to August 2026, and be available to work from our Boston, MA office about 60% of the time (≈3 days per week).
You will partner closely with a Senior Product Manager on the Dealer team and collaborate with stakeholders across CarGurus, including product managers, engineering, product marketing, sales, and account management.
What you’ll do
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales, account management) to support product development and delivery.
Assist in gathering and analyzing customer feedback, market trends, and data to inform product decisions.
Participate in defining product requirements, writing user stories, and prioritizing features.
Support the team in tracking product performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to product launches and go‑to‑market activities by preparing documentation and communications in collaboration with product marketing partners.
Conduct competitive analysis to help refine product positioning and strategy.
Present findings, ideas, and progress to stakeholders during meetings or reviews.
What you’ll bring

Prior internship or project experience preferred but not required (including student organization or scholarship/fellowship engagement).
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, or a related field.
