Business Development Manager (Part-Time)

Do you enjoy connecting with local businesses and helping them grow? The Vacaville Chamber of Commerce is looking for a part-time Business Development Manager to build relationships, support our members, and play a key role in our events and community impact.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is outgoing, self-motivated, and enjoys being out in the community while contributing to a collaborative team.

Pay:

$25+/hour + commission

What You’ll Do
Membership Growth & Retention

Build relationships with local businesses and generate new memberships

Conduct outreach through calls, leads, and community connections

Maintain strong relationships with existing members to support retention

Member Engagement

Serve as a main point of contact for members

Help new members get connected and understand their benefits

Lead member orientations and encourage participation

Events & Sponsorships

Coordinate ribbon cuttings, mixers, and member activities

Support event promotion, sponsorship outreach, and fulfillment

Assist with Chamber committees such as Ambassadors and Membership

Tracking & Reporting

Keep organized records of contacts, leads, and activity in ChamberMaster

Provide monthly activity and revenue reports

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Comfortable with outreach, networking, and sales

Organized and able to manage multiple priorities

A team player who enjoys supporting a shared mission

Familiarity with Vacaville businesses and the community is a plus

Experience with CRM systems (ChamberMaster preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
