Job Description:

The

Assistant Designer, Intimates

supports the design and development of seasonal intimates collections. This role works closely with the Designer and cross-functional partners to execute product that aligns with brand standards, design vision, quality expectations, and seasonal timelines. The Assistant Designer plays a hands-on role in day-to-day design development, technical execution, and organizational support. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative individual eager to grow within a fast-paced apparel environment while contributing to trend-driven, customer-focused product.

Responsibilities

:

Research and identify key trend directions relevant to the customer, including competitive and aspirational brand analysis

Regularly shop the market to stay informed on current trends, silhouettes, colors, and fabrics

Create and maintain organized digital mood boards, inspiration boards, and seasonal trend research

Support the design team in the creation and development of girls' intimates collections

Create sketches for styles in development to support internal meetings and design presentations

Develop and update flat technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator

Execute organized and accurate technical design packages within PLM systems

Collaborate with the CAD team to develop seasonal, trend-right prints and patterns

Prepare and maintain development decks, line sheets, CAD presentations, and CBS sheets

ttend and actively participate in bi-weekly fit sessions

Assist in approving strike-offs, lab dips, and other development materials

Partner with Merchandising and Product Development teams to support design intent, quality standards, and cost targets

Maintain awareness of the corporate calendar and support the Designer with deadline management

Assist with day-to-day design operations, including filing, organizing, copying, and updating development packages

Skills & Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree preferred

1 2 years of experience in apparel design or a related field

Strong Illustrator sketching and technical flat skills

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and shift priorities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic understanding and hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Vizcom) for ideation, concept development, and design visualization
