FOX is seeking an Orchestration Engineer 1 to support the design, build, and deployment of automation and workflow orchestration solutions across the enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and business operations, helping connect systems, reduce manual effort, and streamline internal processes through automation.

In this role, you will work with senior engineers and business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and help translate them into practical, scalable workflow solutions. You will support efforts to replace repetitive, ticket‑based, and multi‑step processes with more efficient, automated workflows that improve how teams work across the organization.

You will contribute to FOX’s shift toward an automation‑first operating model by building integrations, supporting API‑driven workflows, and helping deliver solutions that make everyday business processes faster, easier, and more consistent. This is a hands‑on role for an engineer who is eager to grow their automation, integration, and orchestration skills while contributing to high‑impact work across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Support the design, build, and deployment of workflow automations across enterprise systems using modern SaaS orchestration platforms

Assist with integrating SaaS platforms, including collaboration tools, HR systems, finance systems, project management tools, and AI services, using APIs

Help replace manual, ticket‑based, and repetitive processes with automated, event‑driven workflows

Work with senior engineers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify process steps, and document automation opportunities

Analyze existing operational workflows and identify areas where automation can improve speed, consistency, and efficiency

Develop API‑based integrations and custom logic using Python, JavaScript, or Node.js under guidance from senior team members

Support browser‑based automation using RPA tools when APIs are unavailable or limited

Build, test, and iterate on workflow prototypes to help accelerate solution delivery

Follow established governance, versioning, testing, and release management practices for orchestrated workflows

Contribute to reusable automation patterns, templates, and documentation

Support enablement efforts for business users and help promote responsible automation practices

Partner with security, IT, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure automation solutions follow FOX standards

Qualifications

Experience building or supporting integrations and automations across SaaS platforms using APIs

Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or Node.js, with experience working with JSON and API payloads

Understanding of REST APIs, authentication methods such as OAuth and API keys, and common system integration patterns

Experience with workflow orchestration or automation platforms, including no‑code, low‑code, or programmatic tools

Ability to gather requirements, document workflows, and translate business needs into technical tasks

Interest in improving operational workflows and reducing manual or repetitive work through automation

Ability to work directly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders in a collaborative environment

Familiarity with RPA tools or browser‑based automation techniques

Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to quality, speed, and business impact

Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on simplification, efficiency, and automation‑first thinking

Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences

Nice to Have

Experience supporting automation governance practices, standards, or documentation

Familiarity with enterprise systems such as HR, finance, procurement, or collaboration platforms

Exposure to AI‑powered workflows and integrations

Experience creating internal documentation, training materials, or user guides

Interest in process improvement or operational transformation initiatives

Familiarity with low‑code or no‑code platforms in large organizations

Pay range: $90,000.00–130,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical, dental, vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
