The

Personal Lines Account Manager

is responsible for servicing and managing a book of personal insurance clients while delivering exceptional customer service. This role supports new and renewal business, ensures policy accuracy, and builds long‑term client relationships through proactive communication and advocacy. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

The Personal Lines Account Manager regularly interacts with new and existing clients as needed on the most complex accounts.

Requirements

Manage a book of Personal Lines Property & Casualty insurance business, including auto, homeowners, and related coverages.

Process new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and rewrites accurately and within required timeframes.

Track policy expirations and work proactively to ensure timely renewals.

Gather and analyze underwriting information, including applications, questionnaires, and loss runs.

Prepare complete and accurate submissions, including ACORD applications and supplemental forms.

Market accounts to carriers, perform online rating as needed, and assist with coverage comparisons.

Bind coverage and ensure compliance with carrier requirements and applicable regulations.

Review issued policies for accuracy and request corrections when necessary.

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing professional, timely, and solution‑oriented service.

Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.

Maintain accurate documentation and activity notes in the agency management system.

Stay current on personal lines products, carrier guidelines, and industry trends.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).

2–5 years of personal lines insurance experience preferred.

High school diploma or GED required; additional insurance education or designations a plus.
