Job Title: Private Brands Coordinator

Department: Private Brands

Pay Type: Hourly

General Function: The Private Brands Coordinator provides operational and administrative support for the Private Brands team across Grocery, Health & Beauty Care (HBC), General Merchandise & Specialty (GM & Specialty), and Perishables. This role ensures the accuracy and execution of supplier cost changes, item setup, promotional logistics, and vendor communication. The Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for suppliers and internal partners, supporting seamless execution of cost updates, advertising offers, and special buys.

Reporting Relationships: Accountable and Reports to: Assistant Director, Private Brands

Direct Reports: None

Primary Responsibilities:

Manages the logistics of cost changes and updates in the supplier hub system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all categories.

Coordinates execution of promotional events including weekly ad offers, Go Big Show events, and special buys by collaborating with Business Managers and Category Managers.

Works with suppliers on item setup, cost change support, and reporting needs.

Tracks and maintains promotional timelines, offer accuracy, and supporting documentation.

Assists with the flow of communication between suppliers, business managers, and category teams to resolve discrepancies or clarify expectations.

Enters and validates item data, pricing, and promotional offers in applicable systems.

Supports internal reporting on promotional execution, cost change impacts, and supplier participation.

Provides general administrative support such as file maintenance, vendor form processing, and system updates as needed.

Ensures consistent documentation of processes and updates to workflows as systems and tools evolve.

Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.

1‑3 years of experience in retail, procurement, merchandising, or related field.

Experience in a supplier or retailer‑facing support role is a plus.

Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to perform sedentary office work, including occasional travel to supplier or retail locations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
