Overview
Play a central role in measuring and reporting on the performance of all our digital marketing programmes, including our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategies
You’ll help us evolve into a relationship bank for a digital world by supporting customers in faster, more personal, and more digitally enabled ways

What you’ll do
As our SEO and GEO Manager, you’ll play a key role in our digital marketing activity, shaping specific product demand by optimising channel mix and creative executions. You’ll sit at the forefront of our strategic digital partnerships, leading activity such as Test & Learn to deepen insight and improve performance.
You’ll contribute to planning and delivering digital marketing programmes across web, SEO and GEO, securing clear requirements and measurable performances. Working closely with our engineering teams, you’ll monitor and enhance our technical and on-page SEO and GEO performance to strengthen site health, improve crawlability and boost indexation.
In Your Day-to-day, You’ll Be
Shaping and delivering our SEO and GEO strategy, helping us show up clearly and confidently across search and emerging AI driven platforms
Staying ahead of changes in algorithms, search behaviours and generative AI, bringing forward new ideas we can test, learn from and scale across the business
Carrying out keyword and intent research to understand how customers are finding our websites, journeys and products
Partnering with our content teams to create helpful, human centred content that’s also optimised for both search engines and generative responses
Running A/B tests, evaluating funnel performance and using data-driven insights to identify opportunities that improve conversion and support sustainable growth
Optimising our App Store and Google Play listings to boost visibility and app downloads, with opportunities to build and deepen your ASO expertise
Tracking performance, sharing insights and reporting on progress using tools including Profound, BrightEdge and Adobe Analytics
The skills you\'ll need
In your new role, you’ll bring considerable experience leading and managing a mix of digital marketing disciplines including SEO, GEO and CRO. You’ll use your creativity to identify target audiences and design digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
A naturally curious mindset is essential, as you’ll test new ideas, explore emerging channels and stay ahead of developments across the industry and within AI. You’ll need hands-on experience with GEO experimentation, and a clear appreciation of how AI-driven search is reshaping customer discovery. You may not have all the answers yet, but you bring the curiosity, adaptability and structured thinking needed to find them.
You’ll Also Need
Strong experience in a specialist SEO role, whether in house or agency, with a solid understanding of technical SEO and how it supports great customer experiences
A deep understanding of site architecture, page speed optimisation and schema markup, with the ability to translate technical detail into practical deliverables
Confidence using tools like Adobe Analytics, Profound and BrightEdge, with experience measuring performance and attributing impact
Practical experience running A/B or multivariate tests, using your insights to refine journeys and improve outcomes
Experience shaping content strategies informed by keyword research, customer intent and performance data to make sure what we create is both helpful and discoverable
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate insight into clear, actionable recommendations for colleagues across technical and non-technical teams
