Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative, music-obsessed, cancer hating Social Media & Marketing volunteer to help grow Jam For Good’s presence across social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about charitable causes like ours, live events, understands internet culture, and wants hands‑on experience in content creation, social strategy, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation

Attend Jam For Good concerts and related events to capture and create engaging social content (video + photo)

Develop short‑form content tailored for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

Identify trends and turn them into relevant, on‑brand content

Social Media Management

Help curate and manage Jam For Good’s social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

Ensure profiles, highlights, and featured content are up to date

Community Engagement

Actively engage with fans and artists across platforms (comments, DMs, tags)

Support community‑building efforts to increase audience loyalty and awareness

Collaboration

Work closely with other JFG team members to execute content and engagement strategies

Contribute ideas for campaigns, content series, and growth initiatives

Paid Media Support

Basic understanding of paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Google Ads

Learn how to optimize campaigns for performance and audience growth

Qualifications

Passion for nonprofit work, music, live events, and digital culture

Active user of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (bonus if you create your own content)

Basic understanding of social media marketing and trends

Familiarity with paid ads (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads) is a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills

Comfortable shooting and editing content on a smartphone (bonus: experience with editing tools like CapCut, Instagram Edits, etc)

All experience levels are welcome to apply
